Death of Palestinian Conjoined Twins Rital & Ritaj

Due to the life threatening condition upon arrival from Gaza Strip on 6 April 2010, and to a single heart complex with many cardiac anomalies incompatible with life the twins Rital and Ritaj were not separable and passed away on Saturday, 10 April 2010 simultaneously.

HE Dr. Abdullah Rabeeah, Minister of Health and Head of the Multidisciplinary Team as well as HE Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, Chief Executive Officer, National Guard Health Affairs conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the parents of the twins and the brotherly Palestian people.

HE Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah expressed his appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah for his compassion and generosity in bringing the twins from the Gaza Strip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and for his unconditional support to treat cases of conjoined twins regardless of nationality, religion or culture.
