Successful Separation of Omani Conjoined Twins (attached at the head)
Based on the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the conjoined twins attached at the head (craniopagus) were successfully separated at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh on Saturday, 27 October 2007 in an operation lasting 18 hours. The operation was carried out in 7 phases by 22 members from specialties in Neuro Surgery, Anesthesia, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Nursing and technicians. The Multidisciplinary team included 60 members. The rehearsal procedure was conducted on Wednesday, 24 October 2007.

Cameroonian twins left the Kingdom to Return to Cameroon Republic after their successful separation and completion of their treatment at KAMC, Riyadh.
On Wednesday, 25 July 2007, the Cameroonian twins, Pheinbom and Shevoboh left the Kingdom to return home to Cameroon Republic, following their separation and completion of their treatment at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh in accordance with the directive from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, May Allah protect him.

Twins’ Father Converts to Islam
On 18th July 2007, the Father of the Cameroonian Twins, Mr. James Alkumsu, announced his conversion to Islam at the Chief Executive’s Office in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Bin Mohammad Abu Abah, Director General, National Guard, Department of Calling and Guidance.  Mr. James emphasized that his adoption of Islam was based on complete satisfaction as a result of the charity and tolerance he had found in Islam.

Seven (7) Days after The Successful Separation of The Saudi Conjoined Twins Abdullah & Abdulrahman, both are Breathing Normally
After seven (7) days of the successful operation of the Saudi Conjoined Twins, Abdullah and Abdulrahman, which was held on Monday, 2 July 2007, both twins are breathing normally and both are in a stable condition. This is according to the Head of the Multidisciplinary Surgical Team, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah.

48 hours after the successful separation of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Abdullah and Abdulrahman
After 48 hours after the successful separation of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Abdullah and Abdulrahman which lasted 16 and half hours on Monday, 02 July 2007, one of the twins, Abdullah has woken up and started to move normally and has been taken off the artificial respirator.  He is now breathing normally and his vital organs are stable.
