Moroccan Conjoined Twins Alsafa and Almarwa
Based on the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, it has been decided to proceed with the separation of the Moroccan twins Alsafa and Almarwa on Saturday, 12 July 2008, with the rehearsal procedure to take place on 9 July 2008 as stated by Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Chief Executive Officer and Head of the Multidisciplinary Surgical Team. The operation is expected to last for approximately 10 hours and take 7 phases. The number of the surgical team participating in the operation is 24.

Iraqi Conjoined Twins( Ayad and Zeyad) Arrived to The kingdom
Based on the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a second set of conjoined twins arrived in the Kingdom last evening from Mosul, Iraq together with their parents.  They arrived by Saudi Medivac at Riyadh Air Base Airport and met by and met by the Director General of Public Relations and Media Affairs, Mr. Sami Al Shalan and transported by ambulance to KAMC and were met by Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, Chief Medical Officer together with the specialist and medical team for the necessary medical examinations to be carried out.

Moroccan Conjoined Twins Safa and Marwa, Arrived to The kingdom
Based on  the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,  the Moroccan conjoined twins Safa and Marwa, arrived at Riyadh Air Base Airport on Friday, 04 April 2008 by Medivac and met by the Director General of Public Relations and Media Affairs, Mr. Sami Al Shalan.  They were then transported by ambulance to King Abdulaziz Medical City ,Riyadh (NGHA) where the necessary medical examinations have been carried out regarding the possibility of performing a separation operation.

Updated Report On Omani Conjoined Twins
Four days after the successful separation of the Omani conjoined twins, Safa and Marwa both twins are now completely stable without any complications.  Both twins are breathing normally and all vital organs are stable including their heart, lungs and nervous system.  Their movements and interaction to their surroundings is normal.
