Nine Days after The Successful Separation of The Saudi Conjoined Twins Abdullah and Salman

Nine days after the successful separation of the Saudi Conjoined Twins, Abdullah and Salman, performed on Friday, 21 December 2012 at King Abdulaziz Medical City, National Guard Health Affairs, Riyadh the Head of the Surgical and Multidisciplinary Team, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah stated that the twins were progressing very well with no signs of infection or complications.  The Medical Team will gradually decrease the ventilator until the twins are in a condition to breathe independently.

The twins are being fed through a nasal/gastric tube and are interacting with the staff and their parents and family.

The parents are very happy with the progress of the twins and again expressed their gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for his generosity and to the medical team.
