The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz issued a Directive for the treatment of a set of Omani Siamese twins. He also requested that the necessary arrangements be made to have the twins and their parents brought from Oman. King Abdulaziz Medical City will carry out the necessary medical examinations, and study the possibility of separating these twins, who are conjoined at the head.
This fatherly gesture from the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz is a continuation of his longstanding endeavors to meet the needs of his sons and brothers in humanity wherever they are and to do everything possible to bring smiles and happiness to them.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Chief Executive Officer of National Guard Health Affairs, valued this noble gesture, which can be added to the humanitarian actions of the King of Humanity. King Abdullah’s concern for conjoined twins reflects the love, compassion and peace held in his heart, not only towards his fellow citizens but also towards mankind as a whole.
Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah added that the Omani mother had delivered a set of triplets, two of whom were females conjoined at the head, while the third was a male not joined to them. As usual, when the fatherly Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques learned of their condition, he issued a Directive for the necessary treatment of the twins and requested appropriate accommodation for their parents.
Dr. Al Rabeeah concluded by asking Allah the Almighty to protect this country, its values and its leadership, who strive to preserve the spirit of love, brotherhood and peace.
