The Malaysian Siamese twin Ahmed and Mohammed have experienced excellent progress. They are continuing with their physiotherapy and rehabilitation program using the artificial legs. Over the last 2 weekends, they were given weekend passes to go home for 1-2 days, in order to adjust to the home environment with their parents. Last week Mohammed caught the flu, however, he recovered by the weekend. The plan is that the twin could be discharged home this weekend and they will continue physiotherapy and rehabilitation as outpatients. By the end of Ramadan, it is planned that they will return home and complete their physiotherapy and rehabilitation in their home country of Malaysia.
