After Rapid Improvement in Their Health the Iraqi Twins (Fatima and Zahra) Start Feeding Normally the Fifth Day After the Operation

The health of the Iraqi twins (Fatima and Zahra) has shown great improvement just a few days after the successful eighteen-hour separation operation in King Abdulaziz Medical City for National Guard-Riyadh. The two children are in good health and have started feeding normally.

This was announced by Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah (Head of the Medical and Surgical Team), who confirmed that the twins are in excellent condition and that all of their vital signs, as well as their hearts and their respiratory, urinary and gastrointestinal systems, are stable. Dr. Al Rabeeah further stated that the twins are steadily improving, faster than had been expected, especially their psychological state. The two girls have started moving their bodies and interacting normally with their parents and the Medical Team.

Dr. Al Rabeeah also added that if the pace of this improvement continues, the twins will be transferred to the Pediatric Ward within the next few days, after which time the rehabilitation stage will commence.
