The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on Monday 13 Rabia I 1428 H corresponding to 30 April 2007, paid a surprise fatherly visit to the Cameroonian twins who had recently been separated at King Abdulaziz Medical City for National Guard. Upon his arrival, the King was received by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, Chief Executive Officer, National Guard Health Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Bandar Al Knway, Chief Medical Officer, National Guard Health Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Saud Al Rasheed Deputy Executive Officer, Medical Services and Clinical Affairs and Mr. Sami Al Shalan, Director of Public Relations & Media Services, National Guard Health Affairs. The King arrived at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where he was received by Dr. Hala Al-Alam, Consultant and Head of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and other members of the Multidisciplinary Medical Team treating the Cameroonian twins. The King expressed his happiness at the rapid recovery of the twins following their surgery.
The parents of the Cameroonian twins “Pheinbom and Shevoboh” extended their thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for his noble humanitarian stance in sponsoring the separation operation of their daughters at this esteemed medical facility in the Kingdom of Humanity. The parents also expressed their happiness for fulfilling their dream of meeting the King of Humanity.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, Head of the Medical and Surgical Team, expressed his pleasure with this visit, which is a continuation of the noble humanitarian efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in understanding the needs of the Saudi citizens and his brothers in humanity regardless of their race. He also conveyed the gratitude of the Medical and Surgical Team for the endless support they have been receiving from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
